MASK UP
An Exhibit of Global Mask Traditions

Saturdays 12-4pm
Sundays 12-4pm
October 2020 through May 2021

Never before have masks been worn by so many people all over the world. Long before masks served a practical purpose, they have been an important part of ceremonies, spectacles and drama. This exhibit showcases some of the many wonderful mask traditions from cultures around the globe. Because the mask traditions often overlap with puppet traditions, so you might see some puppets mixed into the display too. Featuring works donated to Northwest Puppet Center as part of The Cook/Marks Collection along with many masks on loan from private collections which are seldom seen by the public.

Schedule subject to change depending on health guidelines.
Mask required for entry. Limited capacity so please prepared to possibly wait briefly outside.
